Brad Matheson, MBA
Co-Managing Partner & CEO
Brad began 25 years ago in the behavioral healthcare industry providing therapeutic solutions to adolescents, young adults, and families. His experience ranges from wilderness therapy to residential treatment to aftercare and transition; this range of experience has given him a unique and deep understanding of the treatment process in its entirety. Since then, Brad has helped hundreds of families navigate the difficult road of choosing the right therapeutic program for their children.
In 2007, desiring to contribute at an even deeper level to the treatment work he loves, Brad returned to school to complete his MBA at Brigham Young University. He loves providing organizational leadership and management support, but his favorite part of this work is helping families understand and make informed treatment decisions.
Dr. Jason Adams, Ph.D.
Clinical Director
Jason come to Integrated Healing Centers with nearly 25 years of experience in behavioral healthcare spending most of that time as a testing psychologist. Having delivered over 1,500 psychological assessments leads to great treatment. His ability to get to the core of what is happening for clients drives his treatment model. He also spent several years as a therapist in a wilderness program where he utilized this expertise in facilitating change in the youth he served.
Jason is excited about the local intensive outpatient care model that will assist adolescents and adults recognize the importance of developing competency in things they are passionate about, helping them function effectively on a day-to-day basis. He believes that by supporting individuals in building genuine life skills and coping mechanisms will help them better understand and supporting consistent effort in all life pursuits clients understand themselves and find purpose in life again.
Gabe Utley, CPA, MBA
Co-Managing Partner & CFO
Gabe brings over 25 years of finance and accounting expertise, with more than 20 years dedicated to the healthcare sector. As a seasoned finance leader, Gabe has held key roles such as Finance Director, Controller, VP of Finance, and CFO in service organizations. His extensive experience spans both privately and publicly held companies, where he has consistently focused on strengthening financial performance.
Throughout his career, Gabe has demonstrated strong business acumen and an analytical mindset, excelling in identifying and correcting underperforming trends. His leadership has been instrumental in driving financial strategies that balance profitability with service delivery, particularly in high-growth environments.
Gabe’s ability to create actionable reporting tools, streamline financial operations, and develop high-performing teams has been a consistent driver of success across his career.
He holds an MBA from Brigham Young University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Utah. Gabe is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Utah and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Matt Crosby
Program Director
Matt Crosby has worked with youth in residential treatment for almost twenty-five years. He was part of the pioneering team that started a residential program in 2005, and was asked to serve as Residential Director on the original leadership team for another program created in 2013. Matt served in that role for almost ten years as Residential Director and as assistant to the Executive Director, staying on as a consultant and administrative trainer for a year and half afterward.
Matt loves programmatics. He is passionate about the ever-evolving discussion of best practices in adolescent and young adult treatment, and how Clinical, Family Systems, Group Dynamic, and Experiential Models are most effectively synthesized for each client. Matt is especially excited about the unique experience Integrated Healing Centers has to offer, with its amazing philosophical underpinnings and unique programming in intensive outpatient therapy.
Chad Balagna
Admissions and Marketing Director
Chad comes to Integrated Healing Centers with nearly 20 years of experience in the mental health field. He received a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Utah State University and later attended Southern Utah University and earned a master’s degree in public administration. Along the way, he picked up certifications in parent coaching and mediation/conflict resolution.
Chad spent the bulk of his career working with adolescents, young adults, and families in wilderness therapy programs. Here, he learned to appreciate the importance of community, relationships, and ownership in the treatment process.
Originally from the mid-west, Chad still finds himself awestruck by Utah’s beautiful mountains and deserts. He currently lives in St. George, Utah. He can be found hiking, snowboarding, traveling, or coaching his kid’s sports teams when he’s not taking admissions calls.
